Stefan Draughon received an MFA in Painting from Parsons School of Design. Solo shows in New York City and in Lexington, MA. were supplemented by group shows at Lincoln Center and the RISD faculty show.

Stefan Draughon illustrated as well as translated Magda Szabo's Hungarian novel, The Door. In her second book, A Passion for Watercolor, Stefan Draughon writes of her experience as a painter. The words are richly supported by images of her work.
